How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're gonna take a look at the Yakima EXO system, outfitted today with the GearLocker and GearWarrior on our 2022 Nissan Armada. The EXO system is a modular system that's gonna allow you to customize your setup to how you need it. In this particular example, we have a cargo basket and a cargo box with a locking lid. Essentially the reason you would want a kit like this, or in general with the Armada, it's a large vehicle, but it's mostly focused on moving passengers, so it puts cargo space at a premium. With a kit like this along with a roof rack, you can maximize the amount of gear you can bring along for your journey. The person that's gonna want to add a cargo basket to the back of their Armada is someone that understands that the Armada's more geared towards moving passengers, whereas it leaves you limited as far as your cargo space. So this is gonna allow you to use the back area of your vehicle and take advantage of your hitch to get more things on the road with your journey. Your basket is constructed of extruded aluminum, and what that means, it's gonna be a lot sturdier than cast aluminum. You're gonna have solid tie-down points at the top, as well as the strips on the side to give you additional stability across your basket. One thing that I point out with these types of baskets that have these huge holes, if you have smaller items, you may wanna lean towards something that has a mesh on the bottom. more

How's it going This is Ed here with etrailer.com and right now, we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier, on the back of our 21 Nissan Murano. 60 inches wide, 22 inches long, constructed of aluminum, giving you real solid contact tie-down points on the top and sides of your carrier. One thing to consider for this guy is that it will obstruct your taillights. Well, not your taillights, it'll obstruct your backup sensors and you're gonna see a portion of it in your backup camera. But that is a good thing 'cause it gives you a good idea as far as where your cargo carrier is in relation to the rear of your vehicle. So, and this guy right here, these are gonna be the contact points that you're gonna make 'cause that's the sturdier part of the carrier. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Nissan Murano. Now, it's gonna be a bit more of a unique hitch-mounted carrier, because it's sort of like a tray, very short sidewalls, but still a good amount of workable space on all the sides here. Now, there are gonna be some sidewalls, so inside dimensions front to back is gonna be 21 inches, and from side to side here, we're gonna be working with 48 inches. So with those sidewalls, you can use them to box some things in, but if you've got maybe some duffle bags, some softer items that need to overhang just a little bit, I think you'll be able to with this, so long as it's properly strapped down. For strapping things down, you can go around any of these main slats, or there's gonna be four holes in each of the corners where you can maybe get an S-hook run to or maybe a bungee. more

Now, this is gonna be the larger option available from Flint Hill Goods. Coming in at 20 1/2 inches deep, and as far as the width goes, 50, or sorry, 58 1/4 of an inch wide, it's gonna be more than large enough to carry all the stuff you might need when you're going on a trip or maybe going to the hardware store, picking some things up. And a hitch-mounted basket like this is a great way to do things like that, because it's got a high weight capacity of 500 pounds. And if you have anything out here that's messy, like bags of mulch, dirt, concrete from the hardware store that tend to make a mess inside the vehicle, that mess out here is a lot easier to clean. more

So there's going to be plenty of room to be able to get all of your goods on the back here so you can have your bed open and more room for your passengers in the cab.A couple of things that I like about it is just the mesh floor. We can put a bunch of wet or muddy gear in here. If you're in the trails or maybe even just hanging out in a creek at a park, whatever it is, you can put all your wet gear back here so it's not going to stink up or get the inside of your cab all wet and muddy. So that's always a plus for me.We're going to have plenty of different tie down points to be able to get all of our cargo nice and secured properly. more

Hey guys, today we have a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder and we're gonna do a test of the Rola cargo carrier. Now this is gonna be a hitch mounted cargo carrier, it's gonna be made out of steel, be very sturdy, have a 600 pound weight capacity, so you're gonna be able to load up a ton of excess cargo, luggage, sports and recreational gear out of your vehicle, create more space on the inside for passengers or pets.Now, for storage space on the inside, we're gonna have 22 inches from inside bar to inside bar on our length right here. And then our width, inside bar to inside bar is gonna be 59 inches. So it's a lot of space to get your gear in. We're gonna have this side rail all around the perimeter, it's gonna make for great tie down points to use bungee straps or ratchet straps to secure your cargo.With any hitch mounted accessory, you are gonna have added length to your vehicle. In the case of our Pathfinder, we're gonna measure from the bumper to the outermost point of our carrier, and it's about 32 inches added on to the back of our vehicle. more

This is a steel cargo carrier, and it's rated for up to 600 pounds, but as always, you want to make sure to check your hitch and your user's manual for your Nissan to make sure that you don't exceed any of their recommendations.I want to give you a couple measurements. From the back of our bumper to the outermost part of our cargo carrier, we're looking at about two feet and 10 inches. That's important to keep in mind if you're backing up into a parking space. Our cargo carrier is going to be a great way to free up the inside of our Rogue for passengers and pets and be able to carry all our gear on the back. As you can see, it is going to add quite a bit of real estate to the back of our Rogue, so I'd like to give you a few measurements. From the back of our bumper, it's going to come out right about 40-inches at the very back. Now, the closest point is going to be right about 13 1/2-inches. As far as ground clearance goes, it's going to be just under 16-inches at the back of the carrier. more

Reese 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Nissan Rogue- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Nissan Rogue, we're gonna be taking a look at the Reese Explorer 24 by 60 cargo carrier, part number 63153.Our cargo carrier's gonna allow us to carry all of our gear on the back of our Rogue, freeing up space on the inside for passengers and pets. As you can see, it is gonna take up a little bit of space on the back, so I'd like to give you a few measurements.From the back of the bumper, overall, we're gonna be adding right about 33 inches. Now, at the closest, point, it's be roughly right about seven inches at the front of the carrier here. As far as ground clearance is concerned, at the back of our carrier, it's gonna be just over 15 inches off the ground. The inside walls are gonna be about five and a half inches tall. One thing to keep in mind if you are stacking quite a bit of gear up would be the point to where your hatch is gonna come in contact. more

Now this is designed to work with two inch hitches only and has a 500 pound weight capacity. I'm going to start off with our ground clearance here. We're going to have about 13 and 3\4 inches. Overall to our vehicle, we're going to have about 30 and 1\2 inches and our closest point is going to be about 5 and 1\4 inches. Now, on our Rogue, we do have a single driver side exhaust. more

Overall this is going to be adding right around 28" to the total length of the vehicle. As far as ground clearance goes, the closest part of the cargo carrier to the ground is going to be right around 14-1/4". Now the closest point to the vehicle is going to be right about 7-1/2". Now if you're stacking something and you want to know how close the hatch is going to be, the breakover point's going to be right around 25-1/4". Keep that in mind when stacking anything on here. more

Now the closest point to the vehicle is going to be right about 6-1/2". Now when carrying things, the breakover point where the hatch is going to make contact is going to be right about 24". Now one of the nice features of this cargo basket is there's plenty of tie down points. more
